"All Mercy Flyers staff are volunteers. As such you need to be self funding, which means you need to have support from friends and family to cover your living costs while in Zambia. For information about the cost of living in Zambia and the support raising process, please contact your local MF office."

Event coordinator in the UK
Our team in Norfolk are looking for a person in East Anglia (or possibly London) who could help us with coordinating events. The person needs to know about (or be keen to learn about) charity events and be good at managing events and people. You would not be expected to run events yourself. Your role will be coordinating the team of volunteers who we already have but lack a leader with the time and skill to put it all together. We would like to run 2 events per annum. You will be supported by Sylvia the UK office manager, and Julia the 'friends coordinator'.
IT Manager in Zambia
We urgently need an IT manager to help run our systems (in partnership with Flying Mission) in Zambia. Ideally we would like someone to commit to coming full-time for a year or more. You will need to be familiar with web design and maintenance, as well as setting up networks and databases.
Anaesthetist required 2-6 months
We are in great need of a Christian Anaesthetist to provide short-term cover for one of the key mission hospitals we support in Zambia. Their anaesthetist is going on 6 months furlough from July-December. The person who applies needs to be trained in working in a developing world setting. You will be working in a wonderful remote hospital 300 miles north west of Lusaka. The surgeon based there is a very pleasant New Zealander along with a mixed Zambian & ex-patriate staff.
Business Administrator
We need a full-time long-term administrator to help manage the Zambian office. You need to have training and experience in business administration and accounting. We hope to find someone who could take this post for at least 2 years. You will work directly with Craig, the CEO.
VVF Surgeon
We would like to expand our fistula repair service into the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and are looking for short term volunteer surgeons to assist with this programme. Surgeons need to be trained and experienced in fistula repair.
