Successful trip to UK

The founders, Craig & Rae, have had a successful visit to the office in Norfolk, England.  We were all very pleased to see each other and revitalise relationships.  Kind supporters provided them with free car, and accommodation for their time in Norwich.  Both Craig & Rae were able to work in their respective specialties at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital keeping their hand in with UK medical practice.  The staff at the hospital were very encouraging and pleased to see them again. 

A short questionaire was handed out to supporters who attended the 'friends of Mercy Flyers' evening and we received tremendously encouraging feedback from all who completed the forms (90% return rate).  They felt very much a part of the organisation, well informed on the activities of MF in Zambia and in the UK.  A few requested we have more events in the UK for supporters to get involved with.  We would love to do this but our current volunteer administrative staff are working to capacity and unable to take on this extra role.  We are therefore asking for someone to volunteer as an 'Events coordinator' for MF-UK to help coordinate the members who are keen to support various events. Craig & Rae are now back in Zambia.
