Help from AFRICARE

Africare have offered to collaborate with Mercy Flyers to recruit and follow up our patients suffering with fistulae in the East of the country.  As a result we have had a boost in the numbers attending our outreaches for surgery.  They have extensive connections in the rural areas through their primary health care and agricultural programmes. We are now in the process of writing a memorandum of understanding in development of this relationship between MF and Africare.  They provide practical solutions for the ladies to travel in dignity to the outreach hospital pre-op and a new change of clothing after their repair.
